Participants of all ages should prepare to get wet and muddy as they wade in the middle reaches of the Pithlachascotee River with Katie MacMillen from the Environmental Lands division of Pasco County.

Wade downstream while watching for deer, dragonflies, butterflies, and many more species!  The water may be as high as forty inches, so close adult supervision is required for younger children. Not a recommended activity for very small children.

What to bring?  Participants should bring water, a towel and change of clothes.

What to wear?  Participants should wear clothes and shoes that comfortable for hiking and are okay to get wet and muddy.
