Pennsylvania herbalist, Nathaniel Whitmore, will give a presentation on home-care herbal medicine.  Herbal medicine is inherently ecological when it utilizes herbs from your own backyard and region.

Learning about the medicinal herbs that grow in your area creates a deeper appreciation of the ecology that surrounds you and your connection to it.

Nathaniel will explain how using local herbs cuts down on the impact of the pharmaceutical and herbal product industries.  This presentation will cover some of the basics of home-care herbal medicine.

What to bring?  Participants should bring a notebook and a pen.
