Calling all bird-lovers! Enjoy this free introduction to birding during this one to two mile walk in Starkey Park to observe and identify birds and other natural wonders.

Join Mike and Laurie Kell from the West Pasco Audubon Society on a leisurely trek through the park and view the birds of the season.  Participants of all ages are welcome and can expect to see a variety of bird species including Tufted Tit Mouse, Warblers, Cardinals, Bluebirds, Wood Peckers, and many more!

Starkey Park is  site 73 on the western section of Great Florida Birding Trail, developed by the local chapter of Audubon Society. Nearly 150 species of birds have been identified in park.

What to bring: Binoculars (recommended, not required), small notepad and pencil to take notes and make a bird list, camera, bottled water.

What to wear: Good walking shoes and appropriate clothing for outdoors. Avoid bright colors, wear earth tones.
