Harvey
Berman will be demonstrating
one or two pieces during the two day exhibit. One piece is of his
back yard with flower pots, geraniums, and wild grasses, etc. The second one
has not yet been designed.

Harvey Berman is well trained and
continues his exposure to education and the arts by teaching watercolor at the
University of South Florida’s Learning in
Retirement Program.    

Artist Statement:

My work is a compilation of
paintings that demonstrate my graphic arts background and the use of color and
line. Images which I create illustrate a fluidity of movement using series of
different mediums (watercolor, acrylic, graphite, and pen and ink, etc.). I am most influenced by the Impressionist Art
Movement – and this can be seen in my use of color and brush technique. Most
recently – I have painted in watercolor because I enjoy the transparency of
media and the richness that the pigment allows.
